Office Assistant
We have been engineering in Newbury since 1991. We have recently expanded our business and now need a reliable, enthusiastic and organised office assistant to help manage the day to day administrative running of the company.
This is a full time position 30-40hrs per week
The successful applicant will have a positive attitude, a desire to work efficiently with confidence to communicate and work with our customers, suppliers and colleagues.
If you enjoy working in a fast paced environment, enjoy using your initiative and manage multiple tasks in a busy environment then we would be excited to talk to you.
Job Description:
- Answer 4 line telephone system, deal with or redirect calls as necessary.
- Help maintain customer and supplier records
- Greet clients and suppliers on arrival and ensure their needs are met
- Office stationary purchasing
- Material & tooling purchasing
- Liaising with sub contractors
- Help manage our archived data
- Help develop and manage new systems
- Light accounting duties (customer and supplier invoice processing)
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills (many of our systems are spread sheet based)
- Goods in management
- Help manage ISO 9001 system
- Dispatch

CNC Programmer/Operator/Setter
Job Title: CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator / Machinist/ Toolmaker
Location: Newbury, Berkshire (RG14)
Salary: Competitive (dependant on skills and experience)
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours - Monday - Thursday 07:30-16:45 / Friday 07:30-12:00
You'll need to be capable of programming/setting/operating Fanuc/Siemens/Heidenhain based 3-axis/4-axis and 5-axis Milling Machines. Fanuc based Lathes with driven tooling and barfeed. Needs to be capable of problem solving and working in a team environment.
Must have experience of Cad Cam.
This person is to become a key player in a small team. Do not apply unless you are innovative/ambitious/energetic.
Successful candidate must be competent with:
• Fanuc Series OI-MC
• Fanuc Series OI-MD
• Cad Cam (training provided)
• Siemens
• Heidenhain
